CLIFFSIDE CABIN - WHITSAND BAY

Get to Whitsand Bay

From the M5

• Follow the M5 until it becomes the A38.  Follow the A38 through Plymouth. Go over the Bridge into Cornwall.  Through the Saltash Tunnel & for another 6 miles on the A38.

• At the Trerulefoot roundabout,  take the 1st exit -  A374 (signposted Torpoint)

• Follow A374 for 4 miles.

• Take a RIGHT     B3247   signposted Millbrook.

• Follow B3247 through Crafthole Village – stay on the B3247  (Left at mini-roundabout)

• Follow B3247 for 2 miles, till you see a signpost for Whitsand Bay – You can now see the sea on your right  hand side. 

Last Bit by Road

• Follow the cliff road for a mile – you will pass through Freathy.   
• About 200m past Freathy, you will find the private parking for Cliffside on your LEFT after a 5-bar gate with signs for public parking (summer only. 
• Cliffside is the middle of the 3 bays.
• There maybe a chain across the bay – it is not locked 

Last Bit on Foot

• If you look over the cliff from the parking spot, you can see Clifffside below (red ridge tiles). To get to it: 

• Walk back the way you came about 20m. 

• You will see a footpath that leads towards the sea/beach.

• The path goes past a stone bench &

• After about 75m. there is a turn on the right leading to the property (33 steps).

• The path is fairly steep, and you will need a torch in the dark.
