The beaches are guarded by RNLI life-guards from May to October offering safe swimming and surfing.

There are two beach cafes at Treganhawke - one on the beach & one near the cliff road.

The View Restuarant offers fine dining and can be reached on foot.

Nearby are the picturesque fishing villages of Kingsand, Cawsand which have a variety of pubs and places to eat, and the nearby village of Millbrook has a supermarkets and other shops, pubs  and take-aways.
